Intermediate acidic metasomatic rocks

Overview

Metasomatic rocks by acidic-neutral hydrothermal fluid associated with rhyolitic to dacitic magma activities. Protoliths are rhyolitic to dacitic volcanic rocks, granitoids, and sedimentary rocks. Intermediate acidic metasomatic rocks are observed near island arc volcanoes on volcanic fronts. Intermediate acidic metasomatic rocks are frequently associated with hot springs near volcanoes.
