• Pleistocene
• Correlation: Amamizuyama Formation

• Lithofacies: Andesite tuff breccia
• Lithofacies (Minor): Pyroxene andesite lava (3 flow units), Volcanic ash

• Thickness: 150 m or thicker
• Upper limit: Bottom of Nis or Andesite-dominant mudflow deposit
• Upper limit: Conformity (Maeko Member), Unconformity (Nis, Kusso Formation, Mitsuyama Formation)

• Distribution: Kitano river - Higashinosawa creek, Sakae city, Shimominochi county, Nagano pref.
