It flowered in June - July.

The petal was white C0 M0 Y0 K0 at the tip and violet C70 M80 Y0 K0 at the base. The bract was red C0 M100 Y50 K0. Leaves are green C70 M40 Y80 K0 at the base and red C0 M80 Y60 K0 at the tip.

The tube flower was composed of 3 petals whose tips are reflexed outside. The flower was L 25 - 40 mm and D 4 mm. 6 yellow stamens and a white pistil protruded 5 - 8 mm and 8 mm, respectively.

A flower bloomed for a day. 12 flowers bloomed from the bottom side of the foliage at intervals of 0 - 1 day.

There is a very short inflorescence, whereas T. brachycaulos blooms without an inflorescence. Some flower bracts have 2 flowers which do not bloom at the same time.
