It flowered in March - June.

The petal was pale yellow C0 M0 Y30 K0 at the tip and violet C60 M80 Y30 K0 at the bottom. The bract was red C0 M60 Y40 K0.

The tube flower was composed of 3 petals whose tips are reflexed outside. The flower was L 25 mm and D 4 mm. The 6 stamens and the pistil protruded 7 - 10 mm and 5 mm, respectively.

A flower blooms for 2 days. 3 - 4 flowers bloomed from the bottom side of the inflorescence at intervals of 5 - 18 days.

Petals are yellow but those basement is violet. This type of bi-color flower is not rare for hybrid species.
