Tetori Group (Yokoyama, 1895)

The terrestrial strata in Gifu pref. - Toyama pref. was separated as Jinzu Group, the Bathonian - Oxfordian marine strata in Fukui pref. - Gifu pref. was separated as Kuzuryu Group, and the strata intercalating the Tithonian and Oxfordian marine horizons was separated as Managawa group but the discussion is still ongoing.

• Correlation: Tokurazawa Formation
• Intruded by: Kitamatadani Granodiorite, Rhyolite (Miocene), Clinopyroxene hornblende andesite dykes, Diorite, Biotite tonalite, Pyroxene porphyry dykes, Plagioclase porphyry dykes

• Sedimentary facies: Marine, Terrestrial
• Depth of water: Shallow
• Lithofacies: Terrigenous clastic rocks
• Lithofacies: Conglomerate, Sandstone, Mudstone

• Upper limit: Unconformity (Itoshiro Subgroup, Omodani Rhyolites, Hayashitani Andesites, Oyashirazu Formation, Uchiyama Formation, Omichidani Formation, Yatsuo Group, Hirayukawa Pyroclastic Flow Deposit I, Eboshi Volcanic Rocks)
• Lower limit: Unconformity (Hida Gneiss, Otakidani Formation, Shimozaisho Alternation Clayslates and Limestones, Fujikuradani Formation)
