• Sedimentary structures: Cross stratification

• Thickness: 50 - 450 m
• Upper limit: Unconformity (Younger Sand Dune Deposits, Older Sand Dune Deposits, Older Fan Deposits, Kotaki Mudflow Deposits, Kisakata Formation, Kisakata Debris Avalanche Deposit, Yurihara Debris Avalanche Deposits)
• Lower limit: Unconformity (Sasaoka Formation, Tentokuji Formation)
