Hornblende-hornfels facies serpentinite
Outcrop of serpentinite of Tanigawadake body in Joetsu Belt. The serpeninite of this outcrop is subjected contact metamorphism of hornblende-hornfels facies by Tanigawa Body, a Miocene quartz diorite.
Outcrop of serpentinite subjected to contact metamorphism of hornblende-hornfels facies. There are aggregates of fibrous crystals of anthophyllite below the coin.
